About The Position

iCapital is seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Associate to join the Transactional Operations team, with a primary focus on trade reconciliations. This team plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s growing investor base and ensuring a seamless experience across multiple stages of the investor lifecycle. The team supports investors, financial advisors, home office personnel, administrators, and numerous internal parties. This role centers on providing comprehensive operational support around trade reconciliations for feeder funds and direct funds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 1-5 years of experience in financial services, preferably within a fund administrator or client service role or the alternative investment industry
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • Proven ability to multi-task and work both independently and as a team player
  • Proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze daily trade reconciliation exceptions generated by a third-party reconciliation provider, ensuring timely evaluation and resolution.
  • Assist in investigating root causes of breaks, determining the correct next steps and ensuring discrepancies are resolved efficiently.
  • Partner with fund administrators, custodians, and third-party service providers to remediate breaks.
  • Escalate exceptions promptly when resolution requires additional internal support, cross-functional input, or poses client, financial or operational risk.
  • Monitor and track aging breaks, ensuring open items are resolved.
  • Collaborate with the Technology team to automate and integrate aspects of the process with the platform.
  • Help define and document new workflows, controls and standard operating procedures.
