About The Position

Due to continued business needs, we are adding an Entry‑Level Accountant to support our network offices across the country. This role is highly transactional and detail‑driven, focused on day‑to‑day accounting activities including bookkeeping, accounts payable, commission processing, payroll support, and monthly period close. This position works closely with a collaborative accounting team and supports field offices nationwide. Training typically lasts 2+ months, and there may be opportunities for conversion to a permanent employee role based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
Hands‑on experience with journal entries, debits, and credits
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Independent thinker who is deadline‑driven
Strong problem‑solving abilities

Experience with JD Edwards

Responsibilities

Perform daily bookkeeping activities for assigned network offices
Process journal entries, vouchers, and debit/credit transactions using JD Edwards
Support accounts payable, commission processing, and payroll activities
Assist with monthly period close and reconciliation tasks
Process commissions and support payroll‑related activities
Assist with 1099 processing
Support training and onboarding of new contractors
Maintain accurate records and documentation for assigned offices
Serve as an accounting support partner for assigned field offices
Maintain strong working relationships with offices supported
Assist with office‑specific accounting projects as needed
