About The Position

JLL is seeking a Transaction Manager to manage and execute lease transactions, foster client relationships, and drive business growth. This role involves overseeing and preparing monthly and quarterly reports, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and strategic planning documents. The Transaction Manager will primarily work in a leadership capacity on straightforward projects or provide support on more complex ones. They will operate independently or as part of a team, occasionally supervising Senior Analysts and Analysts, and directing special projects as needed. This position requires collaboration with professionals across various disciplines and business units.

Requirements

  • Experience in fostering client relationships and business growth.
  • Experience in preparing reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Experience in financial analysis, including NPV cash flows.
  • Experience in managing Analysts.
  • Experience in reviewing lease documents and writing lease summaries and abstracts.
  • Experience in gathering and evaluating real estate market and property data.
  • Experience in conducting market calls, previewing space opportunities, and developing presentation materials.
  • Experience in preparing commission invoices and tracking transactions in proprietary software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute lease transactions.
  • Foster client relationships and business growth.
  • Oversee and prepare monthly reports, quarterly reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Prepare memorandum documenting significant client issues and strategic planning.
  • Assume key transaction responsibilities for a national strategic client.
  • Provide advice on client transactions.
  • Attend regular client meetings and conference calls.
  • Improve client transaction management processes.
  • Work directly with clients and team members to resolve financial model, transaction, and landlord issues.
  • Manage building tours with the client.
  • Manage transaction reporting to clients.
  • Manage transactions.
  • Hire and manage co-brokers for selected lease transactions as required.
  • Review lease documents and write lease summaries and abstracts.
  • Review other materials as part of the due diligence process.
  • Prepare and review detailed financial analysis, including NPV cash flows.
  • Perform and/or review complex financial analyses.
  • Manage Analyst responsibilities throughout the transaction process.
  • Gather and evaluate real estate market and property data.
  • Research companies, landlords, and potential subtenants.
  • Lead the preparation of annual reports and other presentations.
  • Conduct market calls, preview space opportunities, develop fact sheets and tour books, and gather photos and floor plans.
  • Prepare commission invoices and track transactions in proprietary software programs.
