At Bank of America, the Transaction Management Ops Analyst supports moderately complex transaction and fulfillment processing, including movement of assets into and out of accounts. The role provides reconciliation, settlement, trade and transfer support, and quality operations service to internal business partners and external clients in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. Work may involve operational processes with medium to high monetary risk, and the analyst may assist in training less experienced team members. Within WMO Securities Settlement and Custody Operations, teams execute manual processes and monitor automated processes to ensure account transactions are processed and settled, including dividend deposits, asset trades, and balancing trade activity. The Private Bank Investment Income and Corporate Actions team ensures investment income and corporate action payments post correctly to client accounts, then manages those transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness. The role reconciles transaction reports, settlement records, and asset movement requests; investigates discrepancies and exceptions; and responds to inquiries about trade settlement, asset transfers, and corporate action events. The analyst understands the end-to-end process, its controls and risks, and how their work affects upstream, downstream, and other operational units.
