About The Position

EY-Parthenon is seeking a Transaction Analytics Manager to provide data analytics-driven solutions that enhance client decision-making, including buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence. This role involves producing financial and/or market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating reports, devising methods for identifying data patterns and trends, and analyzing large, complex datasets to build sophisticated transaction-driven analyses. The manager will present findings to clients and leadership in an easily understood manner, research industry trends and technologies, and manage and motivate teams of professionals. The position requires consistent delivery of quality client services, demonstration of in-depth technical capabilities, maintenance of long-term client relationships, and cultivation of business development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience, OR Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field plus 3 years of related work experience.
  • 3 years of experience leveraging accounting skills, of which 1 year must be in a mergers and acquisition-oriented environment.
  • 3 years of combined experience analyzing data for financial due diligence and/or audit.
  • 3 years of experience working with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, or other software to perform data analysis intelligence and reporting functions.
  • 3 years of experience with one or a combination of the following: Data visualization (D3js, Tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire, and/or related), Data Management (Hadoop, SQL, Alteryx, and/or related), Analytics Platforms (SAS, Azure, and/or related), Statistical Packages (SPSS, Minitab, and/or related), Programming languages (Python, R, and/or related).
  • Requires domestic travel up to 50% in order to serve client needs.
  • Must be a "United States worker" as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor regulations at 20 CFR 656.3.
