About The Position

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health PA Adult Services is seeking a Training Specialist to join their People Operations team in Berwyn, PA. This role focuses on impacting the lives of individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities by training adult learners using creative and innovative techniques. The Training Specialist will assist with planning and implementing training programs, provide learning support for new and current staff, collaborate with supervisors to ensure training requirements are met, track staff training for compliance, and offer consultation on staff training matters.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Education, or related field, required.
• At least one (1) year previous experience conducting staff training and development, preferably in human service or health care.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree, preferred.
• Instructor’s certification in First Aid, CPR, Crisis Prevention/Intervention, New Directions, QPR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing training programs designed to improve staff job performance and required skills
• Provide learning and training support for new and current staff
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and key personnel to ensure that staff meet training requirements
• Track staff training to ensure organizational, regulatory, and licensing compliance
• Provide consultation and support to program directors, department heads and other supervisors in matters related to staff training
