About The Position

At Superior Choice Credit Union, we’re all about growth — for our members and our team. That’s why we’re looking for a Training Specialist who can turn policies into “aha!” moments and orientation into a warm welcome. You’ll be the go-to guru for onboarding, development, and keeping our people ready to rock their roles.

Requirements

3–5 years of training or instructional experience under your belt
Experience in the financial world, understanding the need for accuracy, compliance, and clarity in training
Ability to organize information and help people
Skill in explaining software or new policies engagingly
Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
Ability to travel when needed
Strong communication skills with all levels of staff

Nice To Haves

Experience with Microsoft Office, loan software, or training tech
Passion for continuous improvement and trying new things
Positive energy and ability to read the room

Responsibilities

Lead new employee orientation that makes the first day feel like a win
Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job learning
Create handbooks, tutorials, and training materials that don’t collect dust
Use tech to make learning flexible, accessible, and just-in-time
Evaluate what’s working, what’s not, and continuously level-up our training programs
Partner with departments to build a learning culture across the credit union
