The Training Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting, developing, and delivering training programs for office and manufacturing associates across a range of business needs. This includes training on core business systems (such as our ERP platform, Epicor), as well as key operational and process-based training across the organization. By delivering effective instruction, creating user-friendly materials, and providing ongoing support, this role helps drive consistency, improve productivity, and ensure systems and processes are successfully utilized across the organization—maintaining Ohio Gratings’ competitive edge. This position requires a passion for teaching, a desire to learn and understand Epicor and other systems, and a commitment to helping associates confidently apply what they’ve learned in their daily work. Strong communication skills are necessary to confidently and effectively train diverse groups and manage different learning styles. The Training Specialist must be enthusiastic about providing exceptional training, ensuring associates have the knowledge and tools to succeed.
