About The Position

WIL is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver training and technical assistance to reentry and diversion programs serving people leaving jail or prison. This is a contingent proposal opportunity within WIL's expert collaborator network, not a funded vacancy. It supports a competitive grant application that WIL is preparing; no award has been made, and work or funding is not guaranteed. If an award proceeds and the staffing model calls for it, WIL may offer a project-based contract or consulting engagement. WIL will ask before naming the candidate or including their resume in a proposal. The role involves assessing programs' training and technical assistance needs; designing and delivering training, webinars, toolkits, and coaching; advising sites on evidence-based reentry and treatment practices and implementation; supporting data collection and performance measurement; and coordinating cross-system partners. The collaborator may also contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to WIL proposals, with authorization to be named. The Workforce Intelligence Lab (WIL) is an applied workforce research initiative. It builds methodology-transparent workforce intelligence, including labor demand signals, occupational and credential pathways, and training-to-employment outcome measures, and works with education, employer, research, and community partners to turn that evidence into grant and sponsored-project collaborations.
