About The Position

The Training Program Lead, Provider is responsible for the strategic oversight and daily management of provider training initiatives that drive high-quality patient care. This role blends program development, event coordination, and relationship management to deliver a seamless onboarding and ongoing development experience for new and existing doctors. The Training Program Lead leverages strong administrative, technical, and facilitation skills to design and execute impactful training programs, serving as the primary point of contact for provider participants and collaborating closely with clinical and HR leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in healthcare training, clinical program management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform work under minimal supervision, handling complex issues and referring only the most challenging matters to higher-level staff.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of provider training, clinical workflows, and program development.
  • Proven experience providing leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group; may act as a lead or first-level supervisor.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and facilitate collaboration.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail in program management and reporting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving ability in dynamic clinical environments.
  • Effective time management and prioritization.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and priorities.
  • Ability to “manage up” and work proactively with leadership to accomplish tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and course design tools.
  • Technical aptitude for learning management systems (LMS) and other training platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • advanced degree in healthcare administration, education, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with event coordination, administrative support, and learning management systems (LMS) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned clinical training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve clinical workflows, protocols, and best practices to enhance provider performance and patient outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for provider program participants, managing communications, addressing inquiries, and supporting individual development needs.
  • Monitor daily program operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational or clinical challenges in collaboration with staff, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Track and analyze program performance metrics, preparing regular reports for leadership to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and track continuing education (CE) opportunities that support provider development, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate logistics for training events, including venue selection, materials preparation, and technology setup.
  • Support the integration and optimization of learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  • May require occasional travel to support program delivery across multiple locations.
