About The Position

SGS is seeking a Training Manager II for a new effort at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. This role manages the activities related to various training and educational programs for an organization. The Training Manager II will study and identify individual or group training needs, and administer plans, procedures, and programs to meet training needs. This role also involves developing a variety of training aids and materials, staying informed of new training methods, and determining the appropriateness of contracting with outside vendors to accomplish training goals. The Training Manager II will analyze training program effectiveness, submit reports and recommendations to management, and prepare and approve budgets and travel plans. Additionally, this role includes recruiting, hiring, training staff, evaluating employee performance, and recommending or initiating promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Education, Org Psychology or related
5+ yrs of recent relevant experience
TS/SCI Clearance
