About The Position

This internship provides an opportunity to learn about training management within a company. Interns will work with the Learning Management System (LMS) under the guidance of the training manager, assist with administrative duties, and learn to create training modules. The role requires interaction with supervisors and co-workers, integrity in task completion, and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Current enrollment or recent completion of a relevant degree program required
  • 0+ years of professional experience in the required task area
  • Must have a basic understanding of work to be performed
  • Interns will work 15 – 25 hours per week; summer interns will typically work 40 hours
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required

Responsibilities

  • Accept direction from, and interact professionally with supervisor and co-workers
  • Work with integrity and follow assigned tasks through to completion
  • Work in the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) under the guidance of the training manager
  • Assist with department administrative duties as necessary to learn about the work being performed, and to contribute to completion of department workload, such as helping employees with login issues, or direction within the LMS
  • Assist with assigning training to new hires
  • Learn to create interactive training modules using content owner’s training documents and input from them
  • Other duties as assigned
