Raytheon’s System Integration and Test Capabilities (SI&TC) directorate is seeking a Strategic Extended Threat Shield (SETS) program Training Lead to lead training and multimedia development, training conduct, resource management, and planning and execution of sustainment strategies for the SETS program. This role will provide support and tasking guidance to a team of Instructional Designers (ISDs), instructors, and engineers to continuously develop pioneering, industry leading training content for program execution. You’ll work closely with SETS Training & TM Sub-IPT, Program Management, Finance, Engineering, Field Services, and Operations. Responsibilities will include leading the training requirements, performing administrative duties as needed, as well as conducting end-user training for the SETS customer.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience training in a military and/or civilian environment.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Secret - Current Security Clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with system radar.
  • Experience leading/managing training development and conduct for large-scale military programs.
  • Experience managing the development of Computer Based Training (CBT).
  • Familiar with 3D modeling / game design / visual effects / multimedia or related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to create high-quality training materials that meet user needs and customer standards ensuring content is comprehensive, engaging, effective, and delivered on time.
  • Apply SME knowledge and expertise to the development, review, and delivery of training.
  • Drive performance to cost and schedule targets.
  • Regularly interact with the SETS program office and customers.
  • Provide input on program highlights, staffing needs, program outlooks, risks & opportunities, and other leadership requirements.
  • Apply disciplined RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM) processes and utilize tools to establish and monitor metrics and trends to ensure excellence in execution.
