The mission of the Seattle Human Services Department (HSD) is to connect people with resources and solutions during times of need so we can all live, learn, work, and take part in strong, healthy communities. HSD’s Aging and Disability Services division (ADS) manages the continuum of care that supports older individuals and those living with a disability, and their families. The mission of Aging and Disability Services is to develop a community that promotes quality of life, independence and choice for older people and adults with disabilities in King County. Our goal is to promote healthy aging, ensuring that our communities are great places for people to grow up and grow old. We are seeking a new creative and collaborative team member to support our growth, team development and unit operations. This position will report to the ADS Training Manager and be a part of a team that supports staff in delivering critical services to older adults and individuals with disabilities in the Seattle and King County area. This position will serve as lead for user training on data systems and education on policy compliance for state aging network systems, including GetCare, CARE Web, TCARE and WA Cares. In this capacity, Trainers will provide user training and technical assistance and support for both internal staff and aging network community providers; and they will collaborate with ADS planning, contracts, and data teams to develop curriculum, support users, and continuous quality improvement. As members of a six-person training team, trainers are responsible for onboarding staff across the division and serving as subject matter experts on cross-division systems and policies.
