About The Position

Chick-fil-A Gurnee is seeking an enthusiastic Training Director to join their team. As an integral part of the restaurant's success, the Training Director will ensure the team is properly trained in all areas of the restaurant, lead Team Members to excellence by setting high standards, and teach Chick-fil-A's values to promote a positive culture. This role is essential for a successful restaurant operation and maintaining a positive work culture.

Requirements

5 years of leadership / training experience (required)
Previous Corporate Training experience and/or proven ability to implement training plans in a past role (required)

Nice To Haves

Previous Chick-fil-A experience (highly preferred)
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Hospitality experience (preferred)
Passion for Chick-fil-A's values

Responsibilities

Deliver operational excellence by working in strategic areas of the business, both Back of House (BOH) and Front of House (FOH), to identify training needs.
Create training initiatives based on identified restaurant needs, new product, and system rollouts.
Develop aspiring leaders and provide a clear growth path for team members to grow through all tiers of leadership.
Develop a team of trainers, creating an inspiring vision, coaching, and holding people accountable to training objectives.
Maintain a work environment that ensures and promotes food and team safety.
Increase overall restaurant results by working cross-functionally with other department leaders through attending weekly meetings and setting high-level collaborative goals.
