About The Position

The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution of organizational development and learning initiatives that strengthen workforce capability, leadership effectiveness, and organizational performance across a rapidly growing, multi-state organization. This role designs, develops, and facilitates training programs aligned with defined business goals and execution priorities, supporting corporate, sales, field, and operational populations. It partners closely with the Organizational Development Lead and Human Resources team to support the implementation of leadership development, team development, and change management initiatives, through the development of targeted learning solutions. The role is responsible for developing training content, facilitating learning experiences, and maintaining program materials, while gathering feedback and performance insights to support continuous improvement. Through high-quality content development and facilitation, the role supports employee growth, enhances capability, and enables scalable learning practices that contribute to continued organizational growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in training, learning and development, organizational development, or a related HR discipline.
  • Direct experience designing and delivering training programs required.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to support flexible schedules based on training and business needs.
  • Willingness to collaborate across corporate and field environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience facilitating training for both corporate and field-based populations preferred.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems, content development tools, and training platforms preferred.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, eLearning and blended training programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and learning experiences for employees and leaders across corporate and field environments.
  • Support organizational development and change management initiatives through training and communication programs.
  • Translate defined business needs into practical, engaging learning solutions in partnership with the Organizational Development Lead and HR.
  • Develop leadership, team development, and role-based learning content to support performance and readiness.
  • Partner with HR and functional leaders to identify development needs and learning priorities.
  • Measure training and development program effectiveness using performance outcomes, participation data, and feedback.
  • Maintain training materials, content standards, and learning documentation to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Support organizational communication initiatives tied to learning, development, and change.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for instructional design, facilitation, and learning best practices.
  • Perform additional duties and project work as assigned.
