About The Position

Join Hitachi Energy as a Training & Development Specialist, where you will play a key role in accelerating employee development and supporting operational excellence across our manufacturing environment. You will help drive the effectiveness of our Structured On-the-Job Training (S-OJT) program, create engaging learning materials, and lead training-focused projects that align with business objectives. Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
Experience delivering training, coaching, or workforce development programs in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and effective training methodologies.
Experience creating training documentation, work instructions, or process-based learning materials.
Strong project management, communication, and facilitation skills.
Ability to collaborate across all organizational levels and influence positive learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Structured On-the-Job Training (S-OJT) to accelerate skill development and employee proficiency.
Deliver hands-on training sessions using adult learning principles and best practices.
Lead and support training-related projects that align with operational and business goals.
Develop and maintain Job Instruction Breakdowns (JIBs), training guides, and learning materials.
Monitor training progress and support accountability for learning outcomes.
Partner with supervisors and team leaders to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training solutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training processes, tools, and documentation.
Provide on-the-floor coaching and support to ensure successful integration of training into daily operations.
