About The Position

NDI Engineering Company is seeking a full-time Training Coordinator Logistics Support person to join our team in Philadelphia and supporting the US Navy Engineering Test Site. The candidate should have an understanding and/or have Navy training coordination, training curriculum development/updates, and training metrics analysis in an industrial environment (Navy experience a plus). The candidate should be proficient in tracking and managing training requirements for 100 personnel with different training curriculums and punctual in maintaining excel trackers and report documents. The candidate will be proficient in working with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe. A willingness to learn and collaborate in high-involvement work team environment.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen and able to qualify for a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Associate level degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering field, or related field of study from an accredited College or University or may have equivalent validation/certification gained through service in the US Military in the as Enlisted (E1 or above) logistics support billets or Navy Enlisted Classification Codes (NECs).
  • Two (2) years of experience as a logistician supporting supply programs or projects.
  • Shall possess working knowledge of the Naval Sea System Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, and/or Fleet organizations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Proficient in tracking and managing training requirements for 100 personnel with different training curriculums and punctual in maintaining excel trackers and report documents.
  • Proficient in working with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe.

Nice To Haves

  • Navy experience a plus
  • Good verbal and written communications skills along with ability to implement feedback from engineers, follow work instructions and work somewhat independently are highly desirable traits.

Responsibilities

  • The employee shall be on-site during working hours with particular responsiveness during the core NSWCPD hours between 0900 and 1430. The contractor must communicate in advance (when possible) when they will not be able to provide on-site support.
  • The employee will complete the administrative functions of the training program to ensure deadlines and requirements are met.
  • The employee shall assist in tracking training that has been administered by the Program Manager to personnel, and individuals or trainees affiliated with the Program.
  • The employee shall schedule all training activities for the program while tracking and recording Watch stander qualifications.
  • The employee will track and manage refresher and requalification requirements of all individuals in the training pipeline.
  • The employee shall maintain the qualified watch standers list and provide weekly metric updates to the Training Manager.
  • The employees shall maintain training records and training curriculum schedule.
  • Coordinating with trainers: Working with trainers and other personnel to ensure training sessions run smoothly
  • Tracking training effectiveness: Assessing the effectiveness of training sessions to ensure employees are meeting training standards
  • Scheduling training: Scheduling training sessions and ensuring employees are assigned to the right training courses
  • Working with subject matter experts: Identifying training needs by working with subject matter experts
  • Developing training materials: Support Training Instructors and Engineers to update/create educational materials for training sessions
