About The Position

LabCorp is seeking a Technical Training Coordinator II to join their team. This role is a hybrid position, primarily remote but requiring at least 35% of the time to be spent in the field, covering Louisiana, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle. The work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with potential for additional days and hours as needed. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • 3 years or more of Phlebotomy experience drawing patients of all ages.
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to travel throughout territory for training purposes.
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record with reliable transportation.
  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years or more experience in training or as a people leader.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the onboarding of new employees and provide initial training for a positive new hire experience.
  • Provide ongoing group and individualized training for work performance enhancement and general education.
  • Deliver training on company and department policies and procedures, department-related competencies, and Lab Information Systems.
  • Develop and implement appropriate resources and programs to achieve training objectives.
  • Evaluate and update existing training materials and plans.
  • Serve as a procedural and compliance resource for department employees.
  • Support leadership with goals related to quality and service metrics.
  • Assist with the creation of improvement plans for underperforming employees.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records for all trainings conducted.
  • Provide training with respect and professionalism at all times.
  • Assist with workflow during high-volume times or when coverage is needed.
  • May travel to client sites and other branches to assist in training.
  • Research industry-related information when necessary.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.
