About The Position

The Training Coordinator is responsible for implementing and overseeing structured onboarding and training programs that prepare employees for success. This role ensures all training follows standardized plans, supports trainees through coaching and mentorship, and promotes consistency, safety, quality, and productivity across the organization.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Three or more years of manufacturing or production experience required
  • Communicate effectively with trainers, trainees, and leadership
  • Document and track training progress accurately
  • Maintain attention to detail in training plans and compliance
  • Support and facilitate training sessions
  • Use computer systems and office equipment for daily tasks
  • Prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Move throughout the facility to observe and support training
  • Work in both office and plant environments (standing, walking, sitting)
  • Stand and walk for extended periods as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Bend, stoop, and reach as needed to perform job duties
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Promote a positive training environment

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience in management or production related field is preferred
  • Two years of training and/or leadership experience preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience preferred
  • Experience coaching teams to better performance via continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with standard work and ensuring standards are maintained

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve detailed training plans for operational roles to ensure consistent and effective training delivery
  • Monitor and ensure all training activities are conducted in accordance with established scripts and company standards
  • Conduct daily follow-ups with trainers and trainees to review progress, assess training effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement
  • Act as a mentor and resource for new hires, providing guidance, support, and encouragement throughout the training process
  • Ensure proper training techniques, engagement, and adherence to expectations
  • Perform regular audits of training areas to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards
  • Collaborate with leadership to align training programs with organizational goals, operational needs, and performance expectations
  • Track and document training progress, certifications, and completion milestones
  • Champion training to deliver a positive employee experience, while consistently reinforcing and promoting the company’s mission, vision, and values through welcome activities and cultural integration.
  • Identify gaps in training programs and implement improvements to enhance effectiveness and employee readiness
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence
