About The Position

Newport Beach Country Club is seeking a bilingual (Spanish) Training Coordinator to enhance the team member experience from onboarding through ongoing development. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for new hires, coordinating training programs, developing materials, and supporting employee engagement initiatives. The Training Coordinator will also provide administrative support to Human Resources and other departments, contributing to the club's culture of 'Members First,' 'Model Operations,' and 'Make Improvements.' This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with HR, training, or administrative experience who are passionate about helping others and wish to grow within a high-end hospitality setting.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
  • 1–3 years of training, HR or administrative experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and passionate about helping others succeed.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to walk throughout the Club while conducting tours, facilitating onboarding, and supporting training across multiple departments.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout portions of the workday.
  • Ability to lift and carry training materials and supplies up to 25 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor areas of the Club.

Nice To Haves

  • Canva experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Canva is a plus.
  • Experience in hospitality or a service-driven environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to create a welcoming and engaging experience.
  • Support the Club's onboarding program and ongoing training initiatives.
  • Conduct Club tours and introduce new team members to the club's culture, standards, and departments.
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions and programs.
  • Track training participation and maintain accurate training records.
  • Create and organize presentations, training materials, guides, and internal resources.
  • Develop engaging training communications and learning materials.
  • Support departmental training needs in collaboration with club leaders.
  • Help coordinate team member engagement activities and recognition programs.
  • Serve as an approachable resource for team member questions and general support.
  • Assist with day-to-day Human Resources administrative functions.
  • Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
