About The Position

We are seeking a "HANDS-ON" Facilities Maintenance Technician (temporary) who will take pride in maintaining the club facilities in 'like new' condition. Requirements

Plumbing knowledge
Diverse mix of hard and soft skills, particularly manual labor
Electrical wiring capabilities
Carpentry ability for basic repairs
Interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Proper use and knowledge of various types of tools and equipment used in facilities maintenance and repairs
Maintain a clean appearance and professional demeanor

Responsibilities

Address plumbing issues such as leaks or clogs.
Perform day-to-day maintenance responsibilities under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
Manage electrical wiring problems.
Handle basic carpentry repairs.
Interact with team members and members in a pleasant manner.
Ensure all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner.
Identify and address potential hazards or warning signs of problems.
Maintain the club facilities in 'like new' condition.
Use and maintain various types of tools and equipment used in facilities maintenance and repairs.
