About The Position

This position will be responsible for the coordination, implementation, and management of all team member training programs currently established. The position will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of the current training programs established, as well as have the ability to stay abreast with new training ideas and methods to further improve the organization’s training program.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 4 years experience as trainer in the manufacturing industry and/or minimum 2 years manufacturing leadership experience with training responsibilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and in the use of e-mail, web browser applications.
  • Intermediate-advanced math skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning skills and critical thinking ability required with orientation for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to understand and follow written technical procedures/instructions
  • Ability to effectively prepare business and technical documentation such as procedures, reports, presentations, etc.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Highly effective, articulate communication skills (verbal & written) with strong interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to work with all levels in the organization and across cultures
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage a variety of projects and tasks.
  • Takes initiative, approaches others in a positive and constructive manner, and works well independently to achieve results
  • Excellent communication skills to all levels of leadership and team members required
  • Ability to hold training presentations required

Responsibilities

  • Administering RedZone ID/Passwords during new hire orientation
  • Ensure all additional training needs, by position, are identified, while coordinating the completion of those trainings and maintaining proper documentation of completion
  • Maintain Master Training Files as new hires onboard and terminated team members exit; always keeping the most up-to-date information available at all times
  • Establish an electronic and/or paper system to ensure all training documents are maintained as sufficient evidence that training has been administered
  • Assist internal and external customers by retrieving any documented training evidence as needed
  • Participate in departmental meetings regarding all training and development subjects
  • Partner with key stakeholders in all efforts regarding training and development subjects
  • Manage all other mandatory training that is designed internally
  • Work with Shift Supervisors to create a monthly Training Calendar and to ensure that targets are met. Report out weekly.
  • Adhere to and uphold all Safety policies and procedures established by the organization
