About The Position

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a Training Coordinator to support organization-wide training and development efforts. This role plays a key part in onboarding, professional development, and compliance training across multiple programs—helping LSS foster a strong workplace culture and high-quality services.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience in human services, training, or organizational development preferred
Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
Experience with blended learning (virtual, in-person, recorded) and training material development
Ability to work across multiple technology platforms (e.g., LMS, SharePoint, e-learning tools)
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 20% (primarily day trips)

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule training activities, including new employee orientation, onboarding, and ongoing professional development
Facilitate in-person and virtual trainings using adult learning principles
Maintain and update training materials to meet program needs and compliance requirements
Support and manage training systems, including the Learning Management System (LMS)
Track, monitor, and report training completion and evaluation data
Collaborate with program leaders and stakeholders to develop training content and systems
Maintain the LSS Connect Training Page (SharePoint) and related resources
