About The Position

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for supporting and administering the credit union’s employee education and training programs related to UniWyo Federal Credit Union’s products, services, policies, and procedures. The role assists in identifying training needs, developing learning materials, and facilitating training sessions designed to support employee knowledge, compliance, and professional development across the organization.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of applicable credit union rules, ordinances, codes, regulations, administrative orders, case law and other governing rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of the Credit Union’s policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the principles of file and records management.
  • Knowledge of the principles of the Credit Union’s member service.
  • Knowledge of the principles of the Credit Union’s Brand & Culture.
  • Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands.
  • Skill in working within deadlines to complete projects and assignments.
  • Skill in making formal presentations.
  • Skill in strong interpersonal communication.
  • Skill in assessing, analyzing, identifying and recommending solutions to problems.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with co-workers, other UniWyo FCU employees, representatives from other credit unions, general public and/or others having business with UniWyo FCU.
  • Skill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software and operating systems/applications.
  • Proficient in word processing and current spreadsheet software.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate’s degree in business, teaching, communications or closely related field AND two (2) years of relevant lending, banking, cashier, or closely related experience OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • May be required to move and/or transport heavy, bulky supplies, materials and/or other items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • May be exposed to potential physical harm and infectious diseases.
  • May require travel.
  • May be required to work outside the traditional work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, coordinates, and facilitates employee training programs related to credit union products, services, systems, and operational procedures.
  • Creates and delivers training presentations, materials, and learning activities designed to support employee engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Assists in the development of interactive training activities and learning tools that support employee skill development.
  • Collaborates with management to identify and evaluate training needs throughout the organization.
  • Utilizes information gathered from management input, employee assessments, and other internal feedback mechanisms to support training program development.
  • Coordinates and incorporates external training programs and resources that enhance the credit union’s internal training offerings.
  • Conducts training sessions for employees across various functional areas including operations, lending, information technology, finance, and administrative departments.
  • Facilitates new employee onboarding training programs.
  • Performs a combination of correspondence related functions.
  • Compiles information and routes to appropriate departments.
  • Enters data into electronic and/or manual recording systems.
  • Responds to inquiries received in writing, by phone and/or in person.
  • Responsible for compliance with the Bank Secrecy and Anti Money Laundering Acts including monitoring for such illegal activity as it applies to this position.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
