About The Position

The Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, developing, and facilitating agency training programs, including New Employee Orientation, LMS/Stars University, EMR training, specialized clinical training, program-specific training, and other required learning initiatives. This role maintains and audits staff training records to ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements, prepares training materials and attendance documentation, and coordinates access to external training opportunities. Additional responsibilities include providing technical support for online learning platforms, collaborating with supervisors, administrators, and the Regional Director of Training on training projects, assessing program training needs through participation in meetings, making training recommendations, and delivering presentations and training content as assigned. The facility and setting includes travel to Central Region programs, including Fresno, Merced, Modesto, and Bakersfield, to support training and staff development needs. Provides ongoing training to ensure staff remain current on required certifications and training requirements while partnering with leadership to promote compliance, quality services, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid California Driver’s License required and must meet Agency driver eligibility criteria.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate of Arts degree in a Mental Health field.
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience in a mental health field.
  • Experience with children/adolescents and their families preferred.
  • Training experience is highly desirable.
