Training Content Creator Intern (Summer 2027)
About The Position
Onshape is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Training Intern to support its Training team. This role is suited to a student with an interest in engineering, CAD, and digital content creation. The intern will contribute to projects that improve user learning experiences through technical writing, video production, and web-based training materials. The anticipated average hourly rate is $28–$32. Actual compensation may vary based on the candidate’s major, degree being pursued, and location. The position is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the opportunity is filled.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
- Coursework or hands-on experience in CAD and/or technical writing.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as Onshape, SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, or Creo.
- Experience with video editing software such as Camtasia or Adobe After Effects.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining training content for Onshape.
- Support video creation and editing for tutorials and product education.
- Contribute to web-based training initiatives using modern authoring tools.
