About The Position

BerryDunn is seeking a Training Business Analyst (BA) to support training, team building, and leadership development initiatives, with supporting client work for a State Health and Human Services (HHS) agency. This role will focus on assessing training needs, designing and coordinating learning solutions, and supporting the delivery of workshops and leadership development activities aligned with organizational change, modernization initiatives, and evolving workforce needs. The Training Business Analyst will work closely with state/territory leadership, staff, and project teams to ensure training efforts are practical, relevant, and sustainable. This position offers flexibility for fully onsite or hybrid arrangements. The required location is Kapolei, Hawaiʻi . This role requires working American Samoa Standard Time (ASST).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational development, education, public administration, or related field
  • Experience supporting training, workforce development, or organizational change initiatives
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience developing training materials such as participant guides and trainer guides
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and blended learning approaches
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendors
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Experience working in public sector or healthcare environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with state/territory leadership and staff to identify priority training, team building, and leadership development needs
  • Assess organizational readiness and workforce capacity to inform training strategy and design
  • Design and coordinate facilitated workshops, working sessions, and training programs supporting project management, change management, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Support development and delivery of team building activities that strengthen communication, trust, and coordination
  • Assist in development of leadership development activities designed to enhance supervisory and leadership competencies
  • Develop and support train-the-trainer approaches to promote knowledge transfer and long-term sustainability
  • Coordinate training initiatives aligned with EPMO initiatives, system modernization efforts, and evolving roles and responsibilities
  • Support delivery of training across multiple modalities including in-person, virtual instructor-led, webinars, and eLearning
  • Assist with management and organization of training materials, participant guides, and facilitator resources
  • Coordinate with project teams and vendors to ensure training activities are integrated with active projects and change efforts
  • Adapt training materials and delivery approaches to align with operational context, timelines, and workforce needs
  • Provide documentation and reporting on training activities, participation, and outcomes
