About The Position

The Training and Development Supervisor leads and coordinates site learning activities to ensure team members are trained, qualified, and performance-ready to safely meet customer and operational requirements. This role designs, delivers, and tracks onboarding, process training, refresher training, and development programs; maintains training documentation and partners with Operations, Safety, and People & Culture to support a high-performance team. The position directly supervises Site Liaisons and Housekeeping Team Members and is responsible for coaching, scheduling support, performance management, and continuous improvement within these teams.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' experience in warehouse operations
  • Broad knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office operations)
  • High School Diploma
  • Possess or have ability to become forklift certified
  • Valid Driver's License or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including protocols, standard operating procedures, customer orders, and pick tickets.
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Site Liaisons and Housekeeping Team Members, including onboarding, training, coaching, work assignments, time/attendance accountability, and day to day direction.
  • Provide performance feedback and coaching, partner with People & Culture on corrective action, investigations, and documentation as needed.
  • Conduct classroom and on the job training across departments; provide refresher training and skill reinforcement based on performance trends, audits, and changes to procedures.
  • Safety processes – facilitate safety initiatives and help drive a positive safety culture.
  • Partner with Operations to drive standardized work and continuous improvement; help identify skill gaps and implement training.
  • Forklift operations – facilitate all training required for forklift certification and includes classroom/practical review, provide refresher training when needed.
  • Must be willing to become a JJ Keller Certified Train the Trainer
  • This is a FLEX position and requires working on the shift were needed
  • Other Duties as assigned.
  • NCM investigations and email communications with the team and the customer
  • Training FST’s and Sunland TM’s with follow ups (30/60/90)
  • 25 weekly location checks
  • 1 weekly process audit
  • Training Matrix up to date
  • Creating and updating Work Instructions
  • Detailed EOS
