Responsible for creating, developing, implementing, and conducting training and development activities for employees. Identifies training needs and develops training materials. Formulates and develops plans to meet specific development and training needs and challenges. Utilizes experience based on knowledge of policies and procedures, and formal training to recommend and administer training and development programs which will promote a high level of staff morale and produce a good return on the Credit Union's investment. Participates in training organizations, and professional organizations to stay abreast of new training methods.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of training experience is required.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
  • Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Well organized and attentive to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Training and Development preferred.
  • Training experience within a financial institution is preferred.
