About The Position

The Training and Design Lead is a new role at the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness (CAEH), reporting to the Sr. Director, Community Impact. The role builds and grows CAEH’s training and learning design capabilities, translating the organization’s expertise in homelessness—including best and promising practices, tools, and systems knowledge—into clear, high-quality training that communities, systems, and CAEH employees can apply. The Lead owns the training lifecycle, including curriculum and course design, in-person and virtual delivery, LMS-based and self-directed learning, and continuous improvement based on participant feedback and results. The role provides strategic oversight and quality assurance for the training portfolio while delegating day-to-day content development and delivery where appropriate. It also oversees a growing team of Trainers and Training and Design Specialists and manages the administration and operations of CAEH’s training function. Working across Community Impact and other teams, the Lead helps shape how training is packaged and delivered, contributes to the growth of training as a service offering within CAEH’s social enterprise model, and strengthens internal staff capacity. The role supports training-specific service growth, operational systems, and financial sustainability while ensuring offerings align with CAEH’s mission and the Canadian Model for Ending Homelessness.
