About The Position

This is a full-time position responsible for assisting the Director with all departmental functions. Essential duties of the department include overseeing agency training, records management and storage, and all critical incidents/events. Duties also include overseeing compliance requirements across all funding sources, including national accreditation standards. Our Compliance and Training Department works on the frontlines with auditors, surveyors, State officials, investigators, and anyone reporting a complaint. This department is also key in our current transformation of our electronic database systems and is critical in establishing expectations and company culture for all new hires. This position also serves as the agency Title VI Coordinator. This Assistant Director will become familiar with all tasks of the department and be able to fill in for all roles as needed. S/he will occasionally travel for training and will occasionally need to work outside of the typical Monday – Friday, first shift hours. Foremost, this person will demonstrate positive leadership in all situations and will uphold and promote the mission, policies and procedures of Orange Grove.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in evaluating systems and writing policies & procedures
  • Fluent Excel and computer skills
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals
  • Ability to provide staff training and mentoring
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide array of stakeholders
  • Must possess initiative
  • Ability to work on projects both independently and in group environments
  • Demonstrate consistent quality services, time management and follow through
  • Good overall physical health and personal stamina
  • Physical examination, including TB skin test or chest x-ray is required prior to employment

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two years’ experience with training and compliance functions
  • Minimum of two years’ supervisory experience
