About The Position
Westland Insurance Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee, Insurance Advisor at our McKenzie Towne location in Calgary, AB. This role is for a career-minded individual who is focused on growing their career in insurance. Westland provides support to all Trainees as they work to obtain their licensing. As a Trainee, Insurance Advisor, you're empowered to develop your career in insurance by learning how to promote and educate clients on Insurance products. You'll also practice anticipating and interpreting client needs, as well as completing various insurance transactions.
Requirements
- Eager to grow, with minimal sales or customer service experience under your belt.
- Building authentic client relationships comes naturally to you.
- Master time manager, can prioritize workload.
- Demonstrate confidentiality and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Promote and educate clients on Insurance products.
- Anticipate and interpret client needs.
- Complete various insurance transactions.
- Answer questions as they arise and communicate product benefits that best match client needs.
- Conduct interviews while capturing the right data.
- Turn client concerns into opportunities.
