About The Position
Westland Insurance Group is seeking an Insurance Advisor for their Westbank, BC location. This role involves promoting and educating clients on insurance products, managing client relationships, and contributing to the company's local presence. The advisor will handle complex insurance cases and mentor junior team members. Requirements
- Laser-focused, you have a track record of achieving sales targets
- Building authentic client relationships comes naturally to you
- Master time manager, you can prioritize your workload while demonstrating confidentiality and discretion
- At least two to three years of industry experience
- Insurance broker level 2 license
- Working towards CAIB/CIP
Responsibilities
- Promote and educate clients on insurance products
- Take ownership of client relationships
- Help grow Westland's presence and profile in the local community
- Manage more complex insurance cases
- Help team members reach their potential
- Work with clients to uncover complex business challenges, identifying their needs and providing recommendations based on knowledge of underwriting principles
- Share your expertise and knowledge as you coach and mentor junior team members
