Trailer Technician

About The Position
Watt & Stewart, a member of the Trimac Family of Companies, is hiring a Trailer Technician. The role involves trailer and general maintenance, electrical maintenance, oil changes, DOT and trailer inspections, and tire removal and installation. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some weekend work required. Pay is $28 per hour.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of diesel mechanic experience.
- Strong work ethic.
- Task-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- CDL-A is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Paccar, Detroit, and Cummins is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance.
- Perform electrical maintenance.
- Change oil.
- Conduct DOT inspections.
- Conduct trailer inspections.
- Perform trailer maintenance.
- Remove and install tires.
- Enter data.
