The Trailer Repair Technician works with passenger-vehicle and light truck/SUV tires, performs flat repairs, and assists with tire and wheel services. The role also includes inspecting customer vehicles for additional repair needs and maintaining an orderly shop and inventory.

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license in good standing.
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
Must have an excellent attendance record.
Must be able to work with little direct supervision.
Must have a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
Must pass a drug test and DOT physical.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of vehicle repair or maintenance is helpful.

Responsibilities

Work with tires from passenger vehicles and light trucks/SUVs.
Conduct flat repairs.
Assist with dismounting and mounting tires, wheel balancing, tire rotations, and air-pressure checks.
Inspect customer vehicles for unexpected repair needs, including wipers and air filters.
Put away shop inventory.
Sweep the shop and keep it free of debris.
Dispose of scrap tires.
