About The Position

This role is responsible for conducting routine inspections of fuel trailers during the night shift to ensure fuel levels are adequate for production needs. The position involves verifying fuel inventory, inspecting equipment for safety and compliance, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Trailer Fuel Trailer Checker will also be responsible for reporting any operational issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to climb steps and access trailers safely.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour night shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of fuel trailers throughout the night shift.
• Verify fuel levels and monitor fuel inventory to support production needs.
• Inspect trailers, hoses, valves, and connections for leaks, damage, or safety concerns.
• Ensure trailers are properly positioned, secured, and compliant with facility safety standards.
• Complete daily inspection reports, fuel logs, and other required documentation accurately.
• Communicate fuel status and operational issues to supervisors and incoming shifts.
• Report equipment malfunctions, fuel shortages, spills, or safety hazards immediately.
• Follow all company policies, environmental regulations, and OSHA safety requirements.
