The Benefits Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the monthly new hire enrollment process, providing reports and support to Benefit Coordinators, and processing and auditing vendor invoices and retroactive adjustments. This role also involves responding to disability eligibility requests, administering the EAP Substance Abuse Program, processing QMCSOs, and handling scheduled department reporting and monthly plan analysis. Additionally, the Benefits Specialist will collect Benefit payments for employees on Leave of Absence, analyze data feeds between HRIS and BenAdmin systems, troubleshoot issues, and stay updated on compliance and regulatory changes. The position requires providing customer service to HR representatives and employees, assisting with claim resolution, and maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of employee health information. The Benefits Specialist will also assist the Benefits Supervisor with projects and other department initiatives.
