About The Position

The Shipping Loader is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and organizing equipment, the work area, and trailers. This role involves scanning and preparing products for shipment, palletizing products from production and outside sources, and assisting in other departmental areas as needed. The position requires the ability to stand and bend repeatedly for 8-10 hours, free use of hands and arms, safe walking, proper use of personal protective equipment, and the ability to work in various weather conditions, including cold temperatures (0-45 degrees Fahrenheit). Core competencies include safety, quality, yield, cost, and relationships, with an emphasis on safety, hard work, integrity, and communication.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand and bend repeatedly at the waist for 8-10 hours per day
  • Free use of hands and free range of arm movement
  • Ability to safely walk to and in the plant
  • Ability to properly wear personal protective equipment, sanitary equipment, and any other equipment necessary for certain departments
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and in cold temperatures (usually 0-45 degrees Fahrenheit)
