About The Position

Imperial Dade is seeking a Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver for their Loxley location. This role is part of a growing transportation group and offers an opportunity for career advancement. The driver will be responsible for a daily route, delivering merchandise to customers by unloading product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly. The essential functions of this role include delivery and providing exceptional customer service. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 6 am to finish.

Requirements

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL A experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Lift gate experience
• Strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 53’ truck or smaller
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after trips
• Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude
