This position involves assembling prefabricated parts to build metal and wood truck trailers, following blueprints. The role requires laying out, fitting, drilling, screwing, bolting, and riveting metal sheeting, frames, bars, and clips using various hand tools and machines. Additionally, the assembler will fasten preassembled trailer sections to the frame, assemble and mount the undercarriage and tires, string wiring for the lighting system, and apply sealant. The job also includes operating a table saw to cut parts, sandblasting, and painting. This is a first shift position with hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. It is a safety-sensitive position, and qualified candidates will be subject to drug testing.
