About The Position
The Traffic Officer is responsible for performing tasks related to ensuring the safety of staff, clients, and citizens. The Traffic Officer will work cohesively with other officers and certified flaggers to maintain safe traffic control.

- Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License, with a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have experience as a police officer, temporary police officer, reserve police officer, or auxiliary police officer (means any person employed by any municipality or any political subdivision of the state of Tennessee) or have a Retired Commission Card.
- Maintain a valid driver license.
- Obtain, hold, and maintain a valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.
Responsibilities
- Monitors traffic at assigned intersection.
- Ensures safe passage of all pedestrians and traffic.
- Monitors flaggers and ensures safe positioning to properly flag traffic.
- Observe all non-motorists to ensure they safely cross roadways.
- Other duties as assigned.
