About The Position

Flagger Force is hiring Traffic Control Flaggers, also called Crew Members, to help protect workers, drivers, and pedestrians in active work zones. The role involves guiding traffic safely using appropriate equipment and communication, and assisting Crew Leaders with work-zone setup and maintenance. Crew Members are dispatched directly from home to job sites and work outdoors as part of a team. The position offers opportunities for advancement, including potential promotion to Crew Leader in as little as 30–90 days, along with promotional and training development bonuses. The listed pay range is $17.50–$19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle; employees must drive themselves to and from job sites. Ride-sharing and drop-offs are not permitted.
Satisfactory driving record meeting company vehicle driving requirements, verified through a Motor Vehicle Record review.
Availability Monday through Friday, with work starting as early as 6 a.m. and continuing into the late afternoon.
Ability to stand for 8–12 hours, walk 1–2 miles per day, lift up to 30–50 pounds, and work outdoors in various conditions.
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability.
Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6 inches high.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic control work zones.
Control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients.
Work as part of a team to support safety and efficiency at job sites.
Assist Crew Leaders with setting up and maintaining work zones.
