About The Position

Fort Myers Broadcasting Company has an immediate opening for a Broadcast Traffic Assistant for its Radio and TV properties, including Southwest Florida's News Leader: WINK News.

Requirements

• Individual should have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines with great attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently and enjoy working in a team environment.
• Ability to sit or work at a computer for extended periods.
• Clear verbal and written communication in person, by phone, and via video.
• Visual and auditory ability to operate standard office equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic software is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of traffic: Log preparation and reconciliation, maintaining media and entering copy instructions, and entering programming formats.
