Trading Operations Assistant
About The Position
This is an entry-level role supporting the Trading Department with daily operational tasks. The Trading Operations Assistant helps maintain portfolio integrity by carrying out trading- and auditing-related practices, including data entry and review to ensure quality and accuracy. The role may also involve generating trading reports for the Trading Department and other operational teams. The assistant communicates by email and verbally with advisors and operations staff to address Trading Department inquiries. The position offers growth potential. Individuals who excel in their responsibilities and develop a strong understanding of trading operations may have the opportunity to be promoted to a Trader position. The role reports to the Trading Operations Manager and collaborates closely with the Service and Compliance Teams. The position and its duties must be performed in a branch office. The job description states that remote work, if performed, must comply with all applicable compliance and office safety requirements.

Responsibilities
- Assist with daily trade execution by running reports and performing quality assurance checks.
- Enter and review data to help ensure quality, accuracy, and portfolio integrity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Generate trading reports for the Trading Department and other operational teams as needed.
- Communicate with advisors and operations staff to address Trading Department inquiries.
- Support future scalability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
