About The Position

This entry-level position supports the Trading Department with daily operational tasks and helps maintain portfolio integrity through trading and auditing practices, including data entry and review for quality and accuracy. The role may also involve generating trading reports for the Trading Department and other operational teams. The assistant communicates by email and verbally with advisors and operations staff to address Trading Department inquiries. The position offers growth potential. Employees who excel and develop a strong understanding of trading operations may have the opportunity to advance to a Trader position. The role reports to the Trading Operations Manager and collaborates closely with the Service and Compliance Teams. The position must be performed in the branch office; if work is performed remotely, applicable compliance and office safety requirements apply.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily execution of trades by running reports and performing quality assurance checks.
Enter and review data to help ensure quality, accuracy, and portfolio integrity.
Generate trading reports for the Trading Department and other operational teams as needed.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
Support future scalability.
