Responsibilities
- Learn tasks and tools used in the manufacture of traffic signs under guidance from shop staff
- Operate hand tools and equipment to complete assigned shop projects
- Assist with setting up, adjusting, and maintaining equipment used in sign production
- Mix and apply paint through the silk screen process for sign creation
- Lay out and apply letters, numbers, and figures on sign blanks following print details
- Assist with organizing and maintaining shop inventory and materials
