About The Position
The Floor Helper supports daily manufacturing operations by assisting with production tasks, keeping workflow moving, and helping ensure efficient, on-time production in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Experience working in a garment manufacturing setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
- Physical mobility – must be able to walk and lift up to 45lbs
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Aide in filling general Production needs on factory floor where necessary including: Assembly, Trimming/QC, Glove turning, Labeling, Boxing and Shipping/Receiving, Leather cutting
- Keep Work in Process (WIP) moving, and keeping staff functioning without delay between work bundles
- Confer with lead on needs daily, as a group or individually to assess workload, understand issues, and monitor processes
- Report findings, needs, and oversights to Sewing Lead.
- Coordinate daily with manufacturing planning team to ensure adherence to output plan
