What You’ll Do Facilitates the smooth flow of administrative, marketing, operations and sales responsibilities for the Apparel Sales Department by effectively performing the following duties as assigned by department management.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree from 4-year college or University
  • 1-3 years’ experience in prior related work experience in apparel tradeshows sales/ retail
  • Must be computer proficient with experience in MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to multitask
  • Individual must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge and past experience of the Fashion Industry
  • Knowledge and past experience of the Wholesale Industry
  • Relevant experience in an administrative or customer service capacity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills—the individual builds relationships with department team members, ANDMORE colleagues at all levels, prospective candidates, and third party vendors; has the ability to work with minimal supervision in a professional, courteous manner while demonstrating diplomacy, tact, and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage booth Assignments for temporary exhibitors in AtoZ
  • Maintains and updates prospect list and Dynamics database.
  • Builds and maintains great customer relationships
  • Attend 2-3 out of town markets with Sales Management annually.
  • Cold Calling/emailing/social media/research prospects
  • Pulling lists for prospecting sales needs from Dynamics
  • Contact exhibitors for market opportunities and relaying important information
  • Organize info requests and aid the team in follow-up
  • Ongoing brand research
  • Ongoing retailer research
  • Pull click through email results and send to team for prospecting
  • Mange exhibitor imagery in the shared folder
  • Help with creative concepts for sales email campaigns
  • Handwritten thank you notes to exhibitors
  • Help screen calls or make call backs if needed
  • Make JPEG or Powerpoint of booth pictures for us to use for prospecting needs
  • Enters other tradeshow books or organizes with other departments
  • Liaison between Sales Manager and Customers
  • Maintains updated information materials for prospect packets, (e.g. applications, listing of exhibitors and lines, photos, floor plans, key buyer lists, welcome packets etc.).
  • Enters customer contract notes in Dynamics, sets follow-ups and prepares follow-up information.
  • Listens to exhibitors and prospects, answers questions, solve problems as possible; provides exhibitors and prospects with specially requested information.
  • Assists in communicating operational issues and/or questions from exhibitors to the Building Services and Development departments and follows up to ensure prompt resolution
  • Requests and supervises temporary labor as needed
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
  • Manages the sale of pedestals and facilitates at market collecting the product for display
  • Conducts any NEM’s tours as needed during market
