About The Position

The Tradeshow & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Danica's brand presence across North America by coordinating tradeshows, showrooms, marketing campaigns, digital content, and customer communications. This position is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of tradeshow and showroom logistics while ensuring a consistent and engaging brand experience across physical and digital channels. Working closely with Sales, Creative, Product Development, Operations, and external partners, the Tradeshow & Marketing Coordinator leads projects involving product samples, email campaigns, social media, website updates, and promotional initiatives that support both wholesale and direct-to-consumer (D2C) business objectives. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Biannual travel within North America may be required to support showroom and tradeshow execution.

Requirements

  • 1+ years related work experience or combination of relevant education and experience
  • Completion of post-secondary education in Business Management, Project Management, Marketing, Tradeshow Marketing, Event Production or related diploma, degree, or certificate
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, operate proactively and work well independently
  • Deadline oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience or interest in digital marketing including email marketing and social media
  • Understanding of wholesale environments, specifically involving lifestyle products and brands
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional attitude
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), monday.com or other project management software
  • Ability to lift 25lbs
  • Valid passport with ability to travel within N America

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Omnisend, Later or other marketing software an asset
  • Previous event or tradeshow operations experience an asset
  • Previous merchandising or space planning experience in retail or event setting an asset
  • Previous digital marketing experience as asset

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sample management process, distributing new samples to sales reps and showrooms across Canada and the US
  • Manage and maintain office samples
  • Coordinate with US agency showrooms to update product assortments
  • Assist in the design and execution of showroom layouts, merchandising plans, signage, and overall event flow
  • Monitor and track showroom orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinate tradeshow marketing opportunities including vendor portals and product submissions
  • Coordinate media requests and submissions including press kits, media samples, giveaways, and show-specific requests
  • Travel within North America when needed to support showroom setup and execution
  • Lead the creation and scheduling of weekly marketing campaigns across email and digital channels, supporting both wholesale and D2C initiatives
  • Maintain and manage social media calendars and brand accounts, including content planning, scheduling, and posting
  • Assist in coordinating the customer retention sequence to drive customer engagement
  • Develop and distribute the monthly sales rep newsletter
  • Coordinate trade media submissions, including print ads, product placements and editorial opportunities
  • Maintain web partner marketing pages, including updating digital catalogues, sell sheets, and supporting assets
  • Assist with corporate website updates including graphics and copy edits while maintaining strong user experience standards
